Description   Yarka is a Russian word that means bright and vibrant. These highly lightfast pastels are made with finely ground mineral and earth pigments, combined with just the right amount of kaolin and Chasov Yar clays. They offer the artist a medium-soft grade and a velvety response, and they are available in a vast array of colors. ndividual pastel sticks measure 2-1/2 inch x 3/8 inches (64 mm x 10 mm), and can be sharpened to a point with a blade.
